Company on steps

Nonesuch Productions was formed in February 2007 by
Andreya Lynham, Amber Noble and Samantha Lyden.

All three met at a local Youth Theatre in Hertfordshire, named Big Spirit, where they honed their acting talents, eventually leading them to gain over 10 year’s professional experience in the entertainment industry.

The girls were searching for a new project, and discovered a distinct lack of plays for young, all-female casts to perform. The only option available to them seemed to be to write their own piece, hence the project of Facebook Fables was launched.

Devised from personal experience, they spent three months creating the first draft of the script. The show made its debut in May 2008 at The Queen Mother Theatre, Hertfordshire. Subsequently Nonesuch Productions submitted their script to the Escalator Scheme run by the Junction in Cambridge. In response to their application the girls were invited to use the Junction Theatre in Cambridge to develop and research their script, but also to perfect the piece as a whole. The week culminated in a closed viewing to industry professionals such as John Gordon and Rikki Beadle-Blair who offered insightful feedback enabling the development of Facebook Fables to continue. Now with a slicker, stronger production Rikki invited the company to perform in the Louder Than Words festival in February 2009 at the Tristan Bates Theatre, London. The show was a sell out and confirmed that there is indeed an audience for FACEBOOK FABLES.
